We have CHOICES!!!

On Thursday, September 8th the Dress for Success Memphis Professional Women's Group were hosted for the monthly meeting by Choices formerly known as the Memphis Center for Reproductive Health. What an interesting evening!!!

Rebecca Terrell, the Executive Director, Dr. Paula Randolph and the staff of Choices gave an informative presentation about the Reproductive Health for Women from puberty until post menopause.
The presentation was entitled "Let's Talk...Sex in the Bluff City"! The Professional Women's Group members were completely attentive to the presentation and the conversation was very open, honest and lively! Of course, what's said in the room stays in the room. So, no commentary can be given but everyone including Choices is ready for next year.

Along with a goodie bag from Choices each PWG Member was given a gift from our Worldwide Partner, Bobbi Brown!

Ready, Set, Go!!!

Last week members of the Dress for Success Memphis' Professional Women's Group decided to form a walking group. The first meeting was today at 6:30am. Everything sounds good until the alarm sounds and it's time to get moving!
First to arrive this morning was Lorraine Robinson with her dog pulling her along and giving her support! Lorraine has been hospitalized and home ill recently. She and her dog walk approximately a mile around the river walk! Yeah Lorraine!
Tiffany Gray decided to accept the challenge of taking the advanced route which included the stairs and the Auction Street Bridge (extremely steep incline). Often considering the option to turn back she became excited when she saw landmarks that seemed so far out of reach. She wanted photos to mark the milestones.
